Founders, John Tsai and Steve Hoekstra, Mechanical Engineering graduates of the California Institute of Technology, bring 50 combined years of experience in the quest to become the preferred manufacturing resource to a diverse customer base. Our ongoing philosophy is to utilize state-of-the-art machinery and innovative manufacturing techniques to match each customer’s unique requirements. Our staff of dedicated professionals stand ready to respond to your specific needs. We complement our human resources with an arsenal of the latest computerized manufacturing aids, including full-featured CAD, CAM, and CAE systems.
Frontier Technologies currently maintains numerous CNC manufacturing centers ranging from vertical and horizontal mills and lathes to waterjet machining centers and large CNC routers. Fabrication capabilities include the welding of most metals to AWS specifications with material handling capabilities up to 10 tons. Our facilities encompass over 100,000 sq. ft. under roof, and nearly 20 acres overall, allowing for a broad core competency. We welcome challenging applications and apply non-traditional strategies to complete even the most difficult manufacturing tasks.
